The Leonese counterpart to Rodrigo, written at San Isidoro for Berenguela. Its last book covers Alfonso IX of Leon: his wars with Castile in the 1190s, his marriage to Berenguela in 1197 and the papal pressure that ended it in 1204, his dealings with Portugal and the Almohads, and the Leonese court and bishops in 1200. Lucas is pious and partisan for Leon and Berenguela, and his dates need checking, but he gives the only Leonese narrative of the year.
