The chronological companion to the Goryeosa, finished a year after it and drawing on the same lost records, sometimes with entries the Goryeosa omits. For 1198 to 1200 it runs the court, the Choe regime, the slave and provincial risings and the Jin embassies in a single dated sequence, which makes it the easier text to read for a given month of 1200. Its compilers' comments show the Joseon judgement on the military rule. Use it beside the Goryeosa annals and biographies.
