Town · Duchy of Masovia · as at first light, 1 January 1200

Włocławek

The see of the bishops of Kujawy since 1123 (de.wikipedia), with a Romanesque cathedral now lost and a bishop's castle, beside a ducal castle and a settlement on the Vistula.

In 1200 a castle and bishop's seat with a market settlement, not a chartered town; town law (Kulm law) comes in 1261.
