The Odrowąż are a rising Lesser Polish kindred with estates in both duchies and in Silesia.
Końskie, in the woods on the duchy's north-western march, is theirs from the 12th century; Prandocin near Słomniki in the Kraków land gives the founder his name. In 1200 their great days are ahead: Iwo will be Leszek's chancellor and bishop of Kraków, and his kinsmen Jacek and Czesław will be the first Polish Dominicans.
