What the year holds

What happened next, if nothing in play changes it. Each event carries what it depends on and what would stop it.

1. 1212-1237 (after this year)Roman Igorevich rules Ryazan 1212-1217 and is killed at Isady in 1217; Ingvar rules 1218-1235; Yuri falls defending Ryazan against Batu in December 1237; Oleg is taken by the Mongols in 1237.

Where the sources disagree

• Ilovaisky gives 1194 for Igor's death; some lists give 1195.

Evidence: Their names and their father's death come from Ilovaisky's reading of the chronicles; their holdings in 1200 are not recorded.

On the map: No holding drawn; marker at Old Ryazan.
