Kissi

Rice and kola farmers of the forest edge where Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia meet, living in villages under lineage heads.

Soapstone figures (pomdo) dug up in their fields are kept as ancestral images; their age is not known. Across the Liberian border the gui sheet takes up the Kissi and their neighbours.
