Idoma and Igede

Farmers of the savanna woodland between the Igala, the northern Igbo and the Benue.

The ruling lineages of the later Idoma chiefdoms trace themselves to Apa (the Kwararafa country) in later centuries, but the Idomoid languages are old in this region, so Idomoid-speaking villages are the likeliest inhabitants in 1200.
