Babors

The forested ranges of the Babors and the hills between Bougie, Jijel, Mila and Collo were the homeland of the Kutama, whose armies won Egypt for the Fatimids.

In 1200 their descendants live in self-governing hill tribes, the Sedwikish among them, between the Almohad ports and the high plains.
